My name is Natalia (and my surname translates into Croissant), I am a Polish translator living in the UK since 2015. I was always passionate and interested in the British culture, hence I chose to study Teaching English at Warsaw University, continued by English Translation Studies at University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS). As much as studying gives you a complex source of information, it’s not the same as living abroad where you can truly embrace the culture of that place. I always talked about moving abroad once I graduate.
And I did it! My one year in the UK turned out to be a more permanent or long-term move, as I prefer to say.
Traveling has always been one of my hobbies. Not only big trips or city breaks. Even a weekend gateway to another city or a 40k walk in London! Most of my friends are always inspired by my big and little trips and this is a main reason why NCroissant is coming live! I want to share my passion, inspire you to travel and explore more as well as share some insights on living abroad.
